Media Production & Analysis

ATAR & General
The Media Production and Analysis ATAR course aims to prepare students for a future in a digital and interconnected world by providing the skills, knowledge and understandings to tell their own stories and interpret the stories of others. Students, as users and creators of media products, consider the important role of audiences and their context.  

Pathways Beyond School
Students who take media will develop the ability to work in many different fields of production, analysis and project management, using their knowledge of the subject to create and analyse media. 

Some of the career pathways associated with studying Media are: 

  • Film Making 
  • Teacher 
  • Television Production 
  • Animation 
  • Advertising 
  • Journalism 
  • Radio 

Pre-requisites
ATAR:
B-Grade (65%) minimum in English in Year 10 
General: Nil
