Visual Arts

ATAR & General
In the Visual Arts ATAR course, students engage in traditional, modern and contemporary media and techniques within the broad areas of art forms. The course promotes innovative practice. Students are encouraged to explore and represent their ideas and gain an awareness of the role that artists and designers play in reflecting, challenging and shaping societal values.  

Pathways Beyond School
Students who take Design will develop the ability to work in many different fields within the creative industries. The skills learnt such as research, planning, and experimenting with materials are all highly desired by future employers.

  • Interior Designer

  • Art therapist 
  • Muralist 
  • Stylist 

Pre-requisites
ATAR:
Art Grade B; or Graphic Design Grade B; AND Must be eligible to select English or Literature ATAR 
General: Nil
