Fashion and Textiles

This course is designed to allow students to work with a variety of textiles to create fashion clothing and accessories for themselves and others. A key feature is enhancing skills in embellishment (making something plain into something special and upcycling (to give a garment a second life). Some projects will be teacher directed whilst for others, students can design their own inspired solution.

  • Overlocker sewing

Assessment
Students will be assessed on their practical skills as well as their planning, research and presentation skills.
