Geography

ATAR & General
Geography is the study of the Earth’s physical features and how humans affect and are affected by these features. Geography teaches students about the natural and physical sciences and provides them with analytical and mathematical skills.  

Pathways Beyond School
Students who take geography will develop the ability to work in many different fields of research, planning and consulting, using their knowledge of geography to collect and analyse data. 

Some of the career pathways associated with studying Geography are: 

  • Park Ranger 
  • Teacher 
  • Surveyor 
  • Market Researcher 
  • Travel Writer 
  • Urban Planner 
  • Environmental Science 

Pre-requisites
ATAR: B-Grade (65%) minimum in HaSS in Year 10 
General: Nil
